The coveted RIBA Stirling prize is presented to RIBA chartered architects and international fellows for a building in the United Kingdom which has made the greatest contribution to the evolution of architecture over the past year. The judging criteria is based on design vision, innovation and originality, capacity to stimulate, engage and delight people, its accessibility & sustainability and how fit the building is for purpose and the level of client satisfaction.
Techrete have a strong affiliation with the RIBA Stirling Prize. The 2015 RIBA Stirling Prize went to Allford Hall Monaghan Morris for their design of the Burntwood School in London. Techrete also designed, supplied and installed the architectural precast cladding on this building.
Awards will be announced on Tuesday 31st October at the Round House in London and Techrete would like to wish Reiach and Hall & Michael Laird architects the best of luck in the judging process.
